What we need:

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, the Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing warehouse operations and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure the availability, integrity, and timely accessibility of critical spare parts, consumables, and operational assets that support Data Center Operations.

The role plays a key part in maintaining operational readiness by ensuring inventory is available to support service delivery, preventive maintenance, incident response, and business continuity, helping the organization meet service level commitments and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation for spare parts, consumables, tools, and operational assets.
  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials in accordance with established warehouse procedures.
  • Process inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, transfers, returns, adjustments, and disposals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock of critical spare parts to ensure operational readiness, timely incident response, and business continuity.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Facility and Procurement and Vendors to support inventory requirements.
  • Perform cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliations, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare warehouse reports, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and other inventory documentation.
  • Support asset tracking, internal and external audits, and inventory compliance activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and HSSE requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, company policies, and health & safety requirements

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Inventory Control, Logistics, or Supply Chain, preferably in a critical facility, manufacturing, industrial, telecommunications, or data center environment.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and material handling practices.
  • Experience managing critical spare parts inventory and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams.
  • Basic understanding of ISO management systems and audit requirements is an advantage.
  • Basic English proficiency, both written and spoken.
