What we need:
Reporting to the CEO of EDGE DC in Indonesia and to Chief of Data Center Operation at Digital Edge Platform, this role will be responsible for the effective operations of the Multi Data Centers (More than 2 Data Centers - Metro Data Centers), development of operations team and support/ enable sales. This role will be based in Jakarta and Greater Area of Jakarta, Indonesia
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall day to day Data Center Operations across all sites in Indonesia to ensure the Data Centers meet or exceed the services performance (SLA) / service Uptime target, safety, security and customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, resiliency and sustainability of operations
- Establish and enforce operational excellence frameworks, SOPs, EOPs, and KPIs across all sites
- Ensure the Data Center Operations are appropriately staffed for 24x7 service delivery. Implement staff training and development
- Build, mentor and scale a high performance operations team (network, security, site operations, audits, automations)
- Coordinate very closely with Head of Facility to ensure world class data center operations
- Ensure certification compliance for Operations, including Information Security Management (ISM), Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and any other local codes
- Planning & execution of overall country Data Center operations budget
- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization
The successful candidate:
- More than 10 years of work experience in supporting a 24x7 data center operations or facility management and at least 5 years in a management / supervisory role
- Good command in English – Speak and Write
- Operational knowledge in following areas will be an advantage:
- electrical distribution, cooling system, fire protection and building management system
- Telecommunication Cabling
- Possess data center related certifications, such as CDCP, CDCS or equivalent
- Effective communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with both internal and external customers
- Strong project management, trouble-shooting and organizational skills
- Experience in telecommunications / digital infrastructure sectors, especially on the process side, is beneficial
- A team player willing to be hands-on in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Organized and able to resolve issues
