What we need:

 

The Transformation Project Director will lead the integration of Operational Technology (OT) systems (BMS, EPMS, BCMS, etc.) with Information Technology (IT) platforms (ERP, operational portals, etc.) to strengthen operational delivery across our data center portfolio. This role will drive the digital transformation roadmap, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems through middleware, APIs, and enterprise integration frameworks. The Director will act as the bridge between engineering, operations, and IT to deliver enhanced efficiency, visibility, and customer experience.

 

This role reports to Chief Data Center Operation Officer, dotted to Vice President (Infrastructure Operations), and will be based in Singapore.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Program & Project Leadership
  • Define and execute the OT/IT integration program, covering strategy, scope, milestones, deliverables, and governance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Engineering, and external vendors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.

 

  1. OT–IT Systems Integration
  • Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of middleware/API solutions to connect OT platforms (BMS, EPMS, BCMS) with ERP and customer-facing systems.
  • Ensure that integration supports monitoring, reporting, capacity planning, incident response, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Build Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and align commissioning handover data with  live operations for consistent lifecycle management.

 

  1. Technology & Vendor Management
  • Evaluate, select, and manage integration partners, system integrators, and software vendors.
  • Establish and enforce data standards, interoperability frameworks, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Track vendor performance and manage budgets for integration projects.

 

  1. Operational Excellence
  • Deliver a unified operations portal/dashboard for real-time visibility and decision-making.
  • Enhance SLA compliance, operational reporting, and regulatory compliance via integrated data.
  • Promote automation, data analytics, and digital workflows to streamline facility operations.

 

  1. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead organizational adoption of digital tools and integrated processes.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate transformation goals, benefits, and outcomes across the business.

 

  1. Key Deliverables (First 12–18 Months)
  • Delivery of an integration framework for OT–IT systems.
  • Launch of a unified operational data platform/dashboard.
  • Standardized data flows supporting predictive analytics and capacity optimization.
  • Improved SLA performance and customer reporting via integrated systems.

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in data centers, critical facilities, or industrial automation.
  • Proven record of managing large-scale digital transformation or OT/IT integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OT systems (BMS, EPMS, BCMS) and enterprise IT/ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with middleware, APIs, and integration platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services, KepWare, Ignition & etc).
  • Knowledge of OT/IT cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, program management, and vendor management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution.
  • Strong communicator and influencer across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Problem-solver with an agile, results-driven mindset.
  • Capable of leading change and building cross-functional collaboration.
