What we need:

 

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager and working closely with the Associate Principle of Supply Chain, you support the company’s global procurement strategy across all data center development, customer delivery, and operational projects. The Supply Chain Risk, Governance, Sustainability & ESG role plays a key role in strengthening the organisation’s supply chain integrity, compliance, and resilience across the region.

 

This role supports the development and execution of risk‑management frameworks, governance controls, ESG initiatives, and sustainable sourcing practices. The role ensures that procurement and supply chain operations align with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and the organisation’s environmental and social responsibility commitments.

This role will be based in Indonesia.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Supply Chain Governance & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to procurement governance standards, P2P controls, and documented operating procedures across all sourcing and purchasing activities. Support due diligence, ABAC, and supplier onboarding compliance checks.

Maintain audit‑ready documentation and support internal and external audit requirements. Monitor policy adherence across regional teams and escalate gaps or non‑compliance.

 

  • Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and track supply chain risks across suppliers, contracts, long‑lead materials, logistics flows, and market disruptions. Support contract‑risk evaluations, flagging deviations, missing clauses, commercial exposures, and compliance risks.

 

Maintain and update the supply chain risk register; support development and execution of mitigation plans. Monitor supplier financial health, performance stability, and geopolitical or market‑driven risks affecting continuity.

 

  • Vendor Prequalification & Due Diligence:

Lead the prequalification process, ensuring suppliers meet organisational standards in capability, safety, financial stability, ESG performance, and regulatory compliance. Conduct checks and maintain documentation for legal, technical, and sustainability-related assessments. Ensure supplier approvals are governed by robust risk, ethical sourcing, and compliance frameworks.

 

  • Sustainability, ESG & Responsible Sourcing:

Support delivery of the company’s sustainability and ESG ambitions within the supply chain.

Collect, analyse, and report supplier ESG data, including emissions, human rights, labour practices, and environmental metrics.

 

Work with suppliers to improve sustainability performance and align with organisational ESG standards. Promote ethical sourcing, transparency, and responsible procurement practices.

 

  • Supplier Performance Monitoring & Governance:

Track supplier performance KPIs, contract deliverables, quality issues, and sustainability commitments. Collaborate with category managers and review supplier scorecards and participate in performance review discussions. Support corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

 

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with engineering, projects, operations, finance, sustainability, and legal teams.

Ensure risk, governance, and ESG considerations are embedded throughout sourcing and project lifecycles.

 

  • Regional Governance & Policy Execution:

Support consistent application of supply chain governance processes across multiple countries.

Maintain understanding of local regulatory or compliance differences that impact procurement.

Assist in regional sourcing governance initiatives and policy updates.

 

  • Data, Insights & Reporting:

Prepare reports on supply chain risk, compliance, supplier performance, ESG progress, and procurement status. Ensure data accuracy across ERP, procurement, and governance systems.

Generate insights to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.

 

  • Health, Safety & Ethical Conduct:

Uphold the highest standards of workplace safety, ethical behavior, and data integrity. Support supplier assessments related to HSE and ethical sourcing requirements. Promote alignment with organisational culture, integrity policies, and sustainability commitments.

 

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Experience:

10+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, governance, risk, or sustainability roles.

within construction or infrastructure sectors, preferably with exposure to mission-critical facilities such as data centers. Proven track record in managing procurement (source and destination) across range of Asia Pacific countries.

 

  • Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with construction procurement practices and equipment requirements specific to data center development and operations. Knowledge of supplier risk assessment, ESG frameworks, compliance processes, and procurement best practices.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field
    • Familiarity with international ESG standards
    • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus
