What we need:

We are looking to hire an experienced Hyperscale Solutions Engineer based in Singapore, to support our Solutions Engineering team in delivering cutting-edge colocation solutions to Hyperscalers across Asia Pacific. This role will be based in Singapore.  

This is a high-impact role that requires technical expertise, strong customer engagement, and a deep understanding of data center environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers on Digital Edge Data Center services, including colocation space and power.
• Identify customer business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Analyze and resolve moderate-scope technical issues independently.
• Lead data center tours, explaining facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Provide technical solution design expertise on colocation solutions and customer cages to assigned Sales Account Executives.
• Support preparation of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Develop deliverables for customer consideration and presentations.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (CSM, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
• Maintain industry knowledge, including competitive landscape and data center best practices.
• Participate actively in cultivating a positive team culture.
• Travel within APAC as required.
• Champion and implement policies for occupational health & safety, information security, environmental management, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in a pre-sales or engineering role within a Data Center colocation environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in data centers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent teamwork, critical thinking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting Hyperscalers preferred.
• Relevant data center industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across APAC.
