What we need:

 

We are seeking a Solution Lead, based in Mumbai, to support the team in delivering cutting-edge colocation solutions to Hyperscale customer. This role reports to Head of Design & Engineering, India.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Facing DC customers & engaging with hyperscale customers.
  • Meeting the customers & understanding theirs needs and acting as a channel of communication between customer and internal Design & Engineering team.
  • Identify and understand customer business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Presentation to the customer & external stakeholders.
  • Keeping the campus deck Up to Date.
  • Maintaining the RFPs & driving the Pre-Sales responsibility.
  • Working closely with the Design and Engineering team
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Digital Edge Data Center Services, focusing on colocation space and power solutions.
  • Analyzes situations and data to resolve problems of moderate scope independently.
  • Provides full support for customer meetings and presentations.
  • Provide inputs on emerging technologies, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Lead data center tours explaining the facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure capability.
  • Deliver technical solution design expertise on colocation and customer cages to all assigned Sales account executives.
  • Supports all RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales Representatives
  • Work closely with product management to influence roadmap based on hyperscale capabilities.
  • Develops and presents all deliverables for the customer consideration.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provides good technical support in sales presentations and customer meetings.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of data center and network infrastructure.
  • Possesses industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
  • Assists sales teams in acquiring new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (CSM, Ops, etc.) to ensure smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Self-Driven and Motivated
  • 5-8 years of experience in a pre-sales or an Engineering role in a Data Center colocation profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • MBA is Sales and Marketing is preferred.
  • Very good understanding on latest AI tools for making an interactive presentations.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, critical thinking, presentation skills.
  • Basic Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical systems, within data center environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint, word) is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within APAC.
  • Related Data Center industry Certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in supporting Hyperscalers is preferred.
