What we need:

The Senior Manager, Project Delivery (Korea) will be accountable for the execution of assigned data centre project(s) in Korea, delivering from pre-construction through construction, commissioning and customer handover. The role reports to the Country Head, Project Delivery – Korea and forms part of the in-country project delivery team.

This role drives schedule adherence, cost control, and execution excellence on the ground, directing the external PMCM team and supported by the platform’s Design Delivery, Commercial, Procurement, and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams. The Senior Manager ensures each assigned project is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with the business’s Required Ready-for-Service (RFS) timeline and approved budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

• Lead day-to-day delivery of assigned project(s) across the full lifecycle – pre-construction planning, tendering support, mobilization, construction, commissioning and customer handover.
• Act as the accountable owner for schedule, cost, quality and safety outcomes on assigned project(s), escalating key risks and decisions to the Country Head, Project Delivery.
• Coordinate inputs from platform teams (Design Delivery, Commercial, Procurement, T&C) and local stakeholders to ensure integrated, timely delivery.
• Administer project change control – ensure changes to scope, cost, schedule and design are assessed, reviewed, approved, documented and communicated in line with Digital Edge governance.

Schedule Management

• Develop and maintain the project master schedule with the contractor and PMCM team, identifying key milestones, critical path and dependencies.
• Drive schedule adherence, recovery and acceleration to meet or improve business RFS targets.
• Run schedule governance – regular progress tracking, look-ahead reviews, risk assessment and mitigation planning.

Procurement & Contract Management

• Support the Country Head and Commercial team in shaping the procurement strategy and contract packaging for assigned project(s).
• Participate in bid evaluation, technical clarification and contractor / vendor selection with the Commercial and Procurement teams.
• Administer the construction contract(s) day-to-day – instructions, variations, claims, progress payment reviews and contractual correspondence – ensuring procurement timelines align with construction phasing.

Construction Execution

• Direct the external PMCM team, contractors, consultants and key vendors to ensure safe, timely and high-quality execution.
• Resolve site-level issues, RFIs and design conflicts in collaboration with the Design Delivery team and in-country Project Engineers.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE, QA/QC and Digital Edge construction governance standards, including Korean statutory, permitting and inspection requirements.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Coordinate with the T&C team and Project Engineers on testing, integrated systems verification and handover documentation.
• Drive readiness for customer handover aligned with technical specifications, customer requirements, SLAs and business RFS milestones.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Lead and develop the in-country project team assigned to the project(s) (Project Engineers and support staff), providing direction, clarity and problem-solving support.
• Report regularly to the Country Head, Project Delivery on progress, risks, mitigations, cost position and commercial implications.
• Build strong working relationships with customer project teams, local authorities, utilities, contractors and internal platform leads.

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements. 

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres or mission-critical facilities in Korea.
• Proven track record in managing contractors and multiple stakeholders, and leading project delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of project controls, schedule management, contract administration and construction governance.
• Working knowledge of Korean construction regulations, permitting and statutory processes, and international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, ISO).
• Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is advantageous.
