Senior Manager, DC Ops Incident Management Office (IMO)

What we need:
Reporting To: Senior Director, Maintenance & PUE
Based in: Singapore
The IMO is the regional owner of Incident (problem) management and operational risk governance, ensuring that incidents, maintenance strategy, CapEx/OpEx decisions, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) contracts, and RFP requirements are systematically connected and continuously improved.
This role transforms operations from reactive firefighting to predictive risk management.
Key responsibilities:
- Problem Management & Root Cause Governance
- Establish and lead regional problem management framework
- Ensure all major and repeat incidents are:
- properly investigated
- root causes identified
- corrective actions implemented and tracked
2. Incident-to-Investment Linkage
- Link incident trends to CapEx and OpEx decisions
- Support Director (Maintenance Cost Mgmt) in:
- justifying investment
- identifying wasteful or ineffective spend
- Highlight risks of delayed or rejected investments
3. PPM Contract & SLA Standardisation
- Review and standardise PPM contracts across all countries
- Ensure inclusion of:
- clear SLAs
- response time requirements
- penalty clauses
- Align contract performance with operational risk expectations
4. RFP & Operational Requirement Governance
- Review RFPs from operations perspective:
- maintenance obligations
- response commitments
- change management requirements
- Ensure operational risks are addressed before contractual commitment
5. Risk Reporting & Visibility
- Provide structured reporting on:
- repeat failures
- systemic weaknesses
- operational risk trends
- Support VP and leadership team with data-driven insights
Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:
Required:
- 10 years in data center operations, reliability engineering, or infrastructure governance
- Strong experience in:
- incident analysis
- problem management
- operational risk
- Able to operate at peer level with Directors and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and structured thinking capability

- Systems thinker
- Strong data governance mindset
