What we need:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our team, with a primary focus on construction project financial management. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial planning and funding processes across a +USD 1 billion development capex program, including budget development and approvals, project fund planning, equity and debt treasury management, capex oversight, and performance tracking. Role will report directly to the Group Head of Finance.

This is senior role, requiring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in managing large scale developments and complex financial structures within the construction or infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Capex Budget Development & Approvals: Work closely with functional and in-country teams across Digital Edge’s 7 operating markets to prepare construction budgets for developments across the Digital Edge group. 
• Capex Oversight and Risk Management: Actively  managea +USD 1 billion development capex program.. Responsible for approval and development of capex programs, and subsequently tracking and reporting of capex commitments and cash spend against approved plan. Role will work closely with commercial functional leads across the 7 Digital Edge markets and senior leadership
• Capital Structure Planning: Track and efficiently manage equity commitments and deployment, alongside debt, to support development across the Digital Edge group.
• Liquidity Management: Work with country finance and development teams to forecast long-term equity commitments, debt draws and cash positions to support the extension development program across the group, and operations.

The successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role within a Western MNC or private equity backed portfolio company.
• Proven track record in construction, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, equity/debt financing, and capex management.
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Excellent English communication.
