What we need:

 

Reporting to the Acting Head of Hyperscale, this role will achieve sales and revenue objectives for hyperscale accounts, while developing a strong understanding of customers’ business. This individual will drive a coordinated sales engagement for their high-value customer segment together with the in-country sales teams, and coordinate with site selection, investment, technical and commercial teams to align Digital Edge’s solutions to the Cloud/AI customer’s requirements. This role will be based in Singapore / Hong Kong. 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Hyperscale Accounts
    Develop solid understanding of customers’ technological & strategic roadmaps. Think globally and actively coordinate to close multi-site opportunities.
  • Relationship Management
    Develop vertical and horizontal relationships across the designated Cloud/AI customer. Understanding their complex decision making and influencing processes internally and globally.
  • Stakeholder Management
    Work across the various customer facing areas of Digital Edge’s business to ensure we are aligning our strategies and products to the future needs of these Hyperscale customers.
  • Future planning
    Understand the future buying plans of the customer and maintain a roadmap for engagement including supporting the future investment decisions of Digital Edge.
  • Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
  • 10+ years experience in strategic technology or land sales
  • Demonstrable track record of relationships and transactions with relevant named Hyperscale customers
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage across cultural / language barriers
  • Leadership skills and ability to project soft power
  • Good project management and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, positive and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
