What we need:
Our data center business is expanding rapidly, and we are redefining our "Sales Engine." We are seeking a proactive Sales Operations Leader to modernize our legacy CRM processes. Your mission is to re-architect our sales environment so that Account Executives (AEs) can focus 100% on customer engagement and strategy. We need a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can bridge the gap between sales teams and global functions to build scalable systems.
This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.
Key responsibilities:
- Streamline Sales Operations: Proactively remove non-sales tasks (contracting, quoting, internal approvals) from AEs. You will take full ownership of these processes to ensure sales efficiency.
- Standardized Processes: Audit existing "black box" workflows. Eliminate person-dependent tasks and create transparent, scalable processes that anyone can execute.
- Global Collaboration: Partner daily with Global Sales Ops in English. Advocate for Japan’s market needs while localizing and implementing global standards.
- Lead System Architecture: Modernize our Salesforce (SFDC) platform. Drive the integration of legacy systems with SFDC to improve functionality and data flow.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Build strong, trust-based relationships with Legal, Finance, and Engineering. Break down silos to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:
- High Ownership: A self-starter who identifies challenges and takes the lead without waiting for instructions.
- Industry Expertise: Prior experience in Data Centers, Cloud Infrastructure, or high-touch B2B tech sales is highly preferred.
- Fluent English Communication: Ability to negotiate and align with global teams on complex processes and contractual terms.
- SFDC Expertise: Advanced experience in Salesforce architecture and a track record of leading large-scale system integrations.
- Resilience in Ambiguity: The ability to organize "chaos" into structured systems and thrive in uncertain, "no-answer" environments.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence diverse teams to achieve common goals.
