What we need:

 

Reporting to the Head of Sales Engineering, APAC, this role will be supporting Sales team in selling Digital Edge colocation solutions to customers. This role will be based in China

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Identifies customers’ business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Primary customer technical point of contact for Digital Edge China Data Center Services covering colocation space and power.
  • Analyzes situations and data on problems of moderate scope independently.
  • Provides full support for customer meetings.
  • Lead data center tours explaining the facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure capability.
  • Provides technical solution design expertise on colocation to all assigned Sales account executives.
  • Supports all RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales Representatives
  • Develop all deliverables for the customer consideration.
  • Communicates with customers (internal and external) in a professional, friendly, and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provides good technical support in sales presentations and customer meetings.
  • Able to perform stakeholders’ management (internal and external) well
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of data center and networks.
  • Possesses industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
  • Assists sales teams in efforts to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (CSM, Ops, etc.) to ensure smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
  • Active participant in cultivating positive culture on the team.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a pre-sale or an engineering role in a Data Center colocation profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, critical thinking, presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Autocad is critical.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word) is required.
  • Knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical of Datacenters is necessary.
  • Good English speaking and written skill is preferred.
  • Related Data center industry Certifications is preferred.
