What we need:

 

The Project Manager position is required to support the increasing number of strategic projects within the company. The Project Manager will oversee project planning and execution to ensure projects are delivered effectively and aligned with business objectives. This role will report directly to the Vice President Project to ensure strong coordination, strategic oversight, and timely decision-making for key company initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee data center projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Network, Operations, Sales, and external vendors.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for data center infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure project deliverables meet company standards and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations related to data center operations.
  • Lead project meetings, track milestones, and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation including project scope, schedules, reports, and change management documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data center, IT infrastructure, cloud, or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, networking, and IT systems is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale technical or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or PMP framework) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
