What we need:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Product Strategy, this role will be responsible for managing the scope, quality, risks, schedule, and resources of platform-wide product pricing activities.
As the owner of product reference cost and price, you need to analyse current and historical results of cost and pricing activity and transactional data to identify actionable opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations to improve overall product commercial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reference cost plan for both Base Build and Fit-out projects based on company’s standard design and customer’s fit-out requirement.
- Conduct cost and price benchmarking across the company’s operating markets.
- Identify potential cost and pricing efficiency improvement areas and execute the plan with support from cross-functional teams.
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of our operational assets including pricing strategies, revenue projections, cost optimization and capacity optimization.
- Assist in managing customer portfolio in various locations and projects to improve site efficiency and financial returns.
- Support demand capacity planning for space, cooling and power inventories and manage the cost required.
- Assist in timely review and submission of pricing information for commercial bid.
The successful candidate:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Commercial, Cost Management, or Financial Analysis in a data centre, digital infrastructure, construction or project management company preferred
- A proven record of commercial awareness. Good experience and understanding of managing IT Infrastructure budgets, cost plan, financial analyse
- Able to engage, influence and align other people to support your decisions at an executive and a working level, and for other stakeholders to do the work needed to progress your priority, initiative or project
- Able to read and interpret applicable technology and commercial information from vendor proposals, engineering drawings and other construction documentations.
- Good command of English is a must
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong attention to details and willing to work at a detailed level
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to online collaboration tools
- Self-motivated, adaptive, and positive attitude. Able to work in the fast-paced environment
