What we need:

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to design, implement, and maintain customizations, integrations, and automations within our NetSuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions, ensuring the platform supports our evolving operational needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom scripts (SuiteScript 2.x), workflows, and custom records/fields/forms in NetSuite
• Build and maintain Suitelets, RESTlets, User Events, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, and Mass Updates

• Customize the user interface using SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and Advanced HTML/PDF Layouts
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards, saved searches, reports, and KPIs

• Design and implement robust integrations between NetSuite and external applications (e.g., CRM, Expense Software, banking, Customer Portal) using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), RESTlets, and middleware platforms
• Develop and maintain system interfaces and API connections
• Collaborate with functional consultants and BSAs, administrators, and business users to gather requirements and design solutions
• Provide technical guidance on NetSuite best practices, system limitations, and optimal use of the platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Manage the full development lifecycle from sandbox to production using change sets and deployment tools
• Stay current with NetSuite releases and new features, assessing their impact and applicability
• Conduct system testing and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

The successful candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience
• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II certification (highly preferred)
• Experience with full lifecycle NetSuite implementations or complex optimizations

• Expertise in: SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript/TypeScript), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP Web Services
• Proficient with: NetSuite data model, records, transactions, and core ERP/CRM/Accounting modules
• Experience in: Building integrations using middleware (Celigo, MuleSoft, Workato) or direct APIs
• Knowledge of: SQL, JSON, XML, and web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS)
• Familiarity with: Source control (Git), CI/CD concepts, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Additional Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of additional NetSuite modules: Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), SuiteBilling
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of scripts and searches
• Understanding of accounting principles and business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay)
