What we need:
We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional with strong experience in debt financing, capital raising, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building complex financial models, executing financing transactions, coordinating multi-disciplinary due diligence processes, and managing lender relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Debt Raising & Execution
The candidate will be expected to:
- Build and maintain detailed project-level and consolidated debt models and conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Prepare lender marketing materials, including IMs, Presentations, Term sheets, financial packs
- Coordinate various due diligence workstreams such as Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) reports, Valuation reports, Legal diligence, Insurance, ESG etc.
- Interact with various Banks, and institutional lenders and support negotiations on Financing structures, Commercial terms, Covenants, Security packages
- Debt Monitoring & Portfolio Management
The role also involves post-financing responsibilities:
- Revise, update and maintain financial models on a regular basis for submission to lenders and shareholders etc.
- Interact with the project/legal/finance teams regularly for dissemination of reports to lenders/stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Facilitate loan disbursal process including collating data from projects team.
- Monitor all debt related obligations, CPs, CS, deadlines, covenants etc. and ensure all information/issues are submitted/raised on a timely basis.
Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:
- Qualified MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-8 years in debt financing, investment banking, private equity, or related fields
- Strong financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel, and the ability to perform detailed financial analysis and scenario modelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience working in cross functional teams and dealing with diverse stakeholders is preferred.
- Data center financing/investing experience is preferred but not a must.
