What we need:

 

This role reports to Facility Director and dotted to Vice President (Infrastructure Operations). The Manager, Change Management Control (CMC) is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and enforcing change management processes in BKK1. This role ensures that all planned and emergency changes to critical infrastructure, IT systems, and facility operations are evaluated, approved, documented, and executed in a controlled manner to avoid unplanned downtime or service disruption. The role will be based in Chonburi, Thailand.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1. Change Governance
  • Establish and maintain the Change Management framework, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ITIL V4).
  • Report to and/or lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review, assess, and approve/reject proposed changes.
  • Ensure proper classification, prioritization, and risk assessment of all change requests.
  • Able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage resistance of change

 

  1. Operational Control
  • Oversee all infrastructure, facility, and IT-related changes within the data center, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), critical power, cooling, BMS, EPMS, cabling, and IT systems.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to minimize risk during change implementation.
  • Ensure adequate testing, fallback/rollback plans, and communication plans are in place before changes are executed.

 

  1. Risk & Compliance
  • Maintain strict compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards for operational continuity.
  • Conduct impact analysis to evaluate potential risks of changes on live DC operations.
  • Track and report change-related incidents, ensuring lessons learned are documented and preventive measures applied.

 

  1. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of all change requests, approvals, implementations, and post-change reviews.
  • Provide regular metrics, dashboards, and reports to management on change performance, success rate, and risk trends.

 

  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify process gaps and drive enhancements in the change management system.
  • Conduct periodic training and awareness programs for stakeholders on change management best practices.

 

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  1. Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in data center operations, facility management, or IT service management, with at least 3 years in a change management or governance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mission-critical data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking, IT systems).
  • Certification in ITIL V4, ITSM or other change management frameworks preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing high-risk operational changes without impacting service continuity.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and enforce compliance with processes.
  • Proficiency with change management tools, ticketing systems, and reporting dashboards.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Fluency in Thai and English is essential.
