What we need:

Reporting to Head of Construction. This role will require the candidates to oversee the on-site construction activities related to design coordination, schedule management, construction methodology and sequence, quality assurance, EHS, testing and commissioning for all MEPF services for designated floors/building areas as assigned by Head of Construction. This role will be based at site in Navi Mumbai.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact (SPOC) for MEPF works responsible for the management, coordination, quality and safety execution of works on site from commencement until the completion of IST testing.
  • Technical specialist and link between design/consultants through to contractors’, vendors and completing with T&C consultants.
  • Accountability of timelines and schedule management start-to-end having to manage resource deployment, material and equipment coordination, sequence of construction to ensure the construction outcome is achieved safely with quality standard within the defined time.
  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • MEP Systems Leadership
  • Own end-to-end delivery of critical MEP systems including:
    • Electrical infrastructure (HT/LT systems, UPS, DG, busducts, EPMS)
    • Mechanical systems (chilled water, DX systems, CRAH/CRAC, ventilation)
    • Controls & automation (BMS, DCIM, EPMS integration)
    • Fire protection & life safety systems
    • Utility & redundancy architecture
  • Ensure compliance with design intent, reliability objectives, redundancy standards, and operational SLAs.
  • Oversee constructability reviews, technical coordination, and system integration.
  • Risk, Governance & Controls
  • Identify and mitigate program-level risks, constraints, and interdependencies.
  • Drive structured escalation management and decision-making frameworks.
  • Ensure contractual, commercial, and compliance alignment across stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Serve as the primary leadership interface for client stakeholders.
  • Drive proactive communication, expectation management, and governance forums.
  • Coordinate consultants, OEMs, contractors, and commissioning partners.
  • Customer Success

The role is measured against business-critical delivery outcomes:

  • Delivery Predictability: Achievement of key milestones including energization, cooling readiness, IST, and RFS dates.
  • Technical Performance: Compliance of MEP systems with reliability, redundancy, and uptime objectives.
  • Quality & Defect Control: Reduction of rework, punch items, and commissioning inefficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Confidence: Structured governance, executive reporting, and risk transparency.
  • Commercial Performance: Budget adherence, variation control, and vendor performance management.
  • Operational Readiness: Seamless transition from construction → commissioning → operations.
  • Customer Experience: Proactive engagement, expectation management, and long-term relationship stability.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma graduate with Minimum 15 to 20 years of onsite experience in installation, testing, commission of MEPF works. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of onsite experience in overseeing MEPF activities for a data center is essential.
  • Should have good knowledge on the latest requirements of data center / hyperscale standards and have executed hyperscale data center.  
  • Completed End-to-end design coordination for liquid cooling implementation at building level.
  • Lead the complete the installation of LC piping network and coolant distribution units (CDUs) at site.
  • Successfully executed, commissioning and supported operational readiness of LC system.
  • Should have worked on installation of Liquid cooling system and racks of capacity 100KW and more in data center.
  • Good spoken & written communications skills are essential.
