What we need:
The MCIM Asset Manager (Platform) is responsible for establishing and governing a unified, standardized asset and operations data framework across all Digital Edge data centers under the MCIM platform.
This role owns platform integrity, asset taxonomy, workflow governance, and cross-country standardization to ensure:
- Zero untracked assets
- Zero untracked activities
- Zero SLA breach from workflow gaps
- Audit-ready compliance across all regions
This is a transformation and governance role, not a site operations role.
Key responsibilities:
1. Platform Ownership & Governance
- Own the global MCIM asset data structure and dependency hierarchy.
- Define and enforce standardized asset naming conventions, tagging and criticality classification.
- Govern integration between MCIM, BMS, CMMS, and other operational systems.
- Ensure asset lifecycle tracking from commissioning to decommissioning.
2. Asset & Workflow Standardization
- Collaborate with Maintenance team to develop global standards for:
- Preventive Maintenance workflows
- Change Management process
- Incident logging and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) framework
- Audit tracking and compliance documentation
- Ensure every change and maintenance activity is tied to asset records.
3. Deployment & Rollout Support
- Lead asset data migration and cleansing during new site onboarding.
- Coordinate with Country MCIM Engineers during rollout (Eg SEL2, BOM1, JKT2, etc.).
- Validate asset audit accuracy before go-live.
4. Performance & Data Analytics
- Develop dashboards for:
- Incident trends
- Asset failure patterns
- SLA compliance tracking
- Maintenance efficacy
- Provide monthly insights to Infrastructure Operations leadership.
5. Audit & Risk Management
- Ensure MCIM supports hyperscale customer SLA requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure audit logs are complete and traceable.
- Reduce manual compliance preparation effort by standardizing documentation.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement digital optimization.
- Benchmark cross-country performance.
- Drive predictive maintenance insights leveraging MCIM data.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 8–12 years experience in:
- Data center operations
- CMMS / DCIM / EAM platforms
- Asset management governance
- Experience managing multi-site or regional operations preferred.
Strong understanding of:
- Mission critical systems (UPS, CRAH, Chillers, Generators, BMS)
- Change management & incident escalation in hyperscale environments
