What we need:
Reporting to the Operations Director, Japan, this role will take care of customers to meet their requirement in large-scaled or complicated deals in Japan. This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.
Key responsibilities:
- Take responsibility and play the main role of the project at fit-out level, including coordinating between customers and DE internal key stakeholders from contract signing until fit-out completion and handover
- Manage project progress, reporting, acceptance documentation, and obtain customer approvals
- Align with DE vendors to meet customer delivery lead time requirements and clarify customer requirements to DE internal teams and vendors during the fit-out phase
- Confirm vendor deliverables with customers and manage the handover to the operation team after fit-out is complete
- Manage new and existing complex customer installations, working cross-functionally with other countries and regions to deliver services on time and according to customer expectations
- Lead internal collaboration sessions to ensure quality assurance and control during planning and implementation
- Own and resolve a wide range of standard and non-standard customer requests, and propose or develop cross-functional solutions for non-standard requests
- Understand customers’ footprint and contractual agreements and proactively ensure compliance with those agreements
- Collaborate with existing customers to understand requirements for add-on services
- Develop and maintain expertise on DE products and services
- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization
The successful candidate:
- 3 plus years’ experience in Data Center Colocation provider business
- Experience in a technical industry; preferably IT, telecommunications or data centers
- Collaborative personality and able to build strong personal relationships
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and a dedication to resolving issues
- Be calm and effective under pressure in professional manner
- Able to plan, execute and perform multi-tasking
- Embraces change
- Good competence in English/Japanese is essential, Mandarin will be a plus but not must.
- Elementary AutoCAD skills and experience will be a plus but not must
