What we need:

 

This position will be the lead HR finance business partner for the Digital Edge group. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with senior Finance, HR and business unit leads, to drive headcount reporting and workforce planning across Digital Edge’s seven operating countries. The role focuses on data integrity, process standardisation, delivering actionable data insights to drive business decisions and cost optimisation. This role will be based in India.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Workforce & People Cost Planning
    • Lead monthly group workforce and people cost updates, analysing trends and variances to budget.
    • Translate hiring plans into financial impacts and scenario models (e.g., location mix, timing, cost of hiring through agency vs. direct) to guide decisions.

 

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Consolidate, analyse and publish monthly headcount and related financial reports, integrating data from diverse geographic regions comprising seven DC operating countries and further three corporate countries.
    • Conduct adhoc headcount and related cost analysis to support decision-making.

 

Data Governance

    • Maintain and optimise headcount data reporting across systems to match evolving organisation structures and requirements across the group, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting.
    • Support on intra-group charging and transfer pricing

 

    • Collaborate with HR and IT to enhance reporting processes and strengthen data governance, delivering executive-ready insights.
    • Lead process standardization across regions and guide country teams on definitions to ensure reliable data analysis.
    • Develop dashboards and analytics to deliver actionable insights for leadership decision-making.

 

  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements for HR financial data.
    • Support internal and external audits as needed.

 

  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR Analytics, or a related analytical field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience, with substantial experience in headcount or related reporting and analysis.
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to data integrity and timeliness.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply commercial perspectives
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel skills, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel Pivots, Thinkcell).
  • Exceptional attention to details and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
