What we need:

 

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this role oversees all financial activities of Digital Edge in Thailand, including accounting and control, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, tax, risk, and cash management. The Finance Director will also work closely with the Country Manager through a dotted‑line reporting structure.

 

This role is based in Thailand and will support a growing portfolio that includes operational sites, expansion projects, and new developments.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Build, lead, and develop the Thailand finance team to establish a world‑class finance, reporting, and internal control environment.
  • Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to Group Finance—including monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and consolidation inputs.
  • Oversee all statutory compliance requirements, including coordination with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify and support participation in government rebate, tax incentive, or investment promotion programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to prepare, review, and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
  • Support strategic projects such as data center expansions, land acquisition, and greenfield construction initiatives.
  • Manage all banking, treasury, and cash management activities in collaboration with Group Finance.
  • Oversee capital project budgets, cost tracking, and reporting across construction and development activities.
  • Maintain a strong risk management framework in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Produce FP&A reporting packages with relevant financial and operational KPIs.
  • Provide analytical support to cross‑functional groups including Sales, Marketing, HR, Operations, and Design & Construction.
  • Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including financial reporting, consolidation, FP&A, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience working in multinational environments; exposure to Asia‑based or global organizations preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications, data centers, digital infrastructure, or capital‑intensive industries is advantageous.
  • Background in managing construction/CapEx budgets is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high‑performance finance teams.
  • Hands‑on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Thai language proficiency is beneficial.
