Reporting to the Finance Director Thailand, this role will be an integral part of the company’s finance department in providing support to critical aspects of finance process, including system implementation and process improvements, financial analysis, financial management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounts receivable management, disbursements, and taxes.    This role will be based in Bangkok Thailand.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Review accounting records, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Ensure proper recording of transactions, including construction costs, equipment, revenue contracts, and power purchase agreements.
  • Communicate monthly financial results and analysis to Group Finance; assist with consolidation requirements.
  • Support annual audits and statutory reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with Board of Investments and manage required submissions.
  • Assist in transaction processing (reimbursements, cash advances, accruals).

 

Credit Evaluation, Billing & Collection

  • Conduct KYC and credit verification of customers.
  • Prepare and issue billing invoices; resolve discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Manage collections and analyze outstanding receivables; develop action plans for overdue accounts.
  • Maintain monthly collection reports and documentation.
  • Ensure timely revenue recognition and assist in updating credit policies.

 

Disbursements Management

  • Review vendor invoices and ensure spending aligns with budgets.
  • Facilitate transition to in-house payment processing post-system implementation.
  • Ensure accurate recording of disbursements and related taxes.

 

System Implementation & Process Improvements

  • Oversee finance system implementation, including data migration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Improve and localize finance and treasury processes for efficiency and automation.
  • Organize billing and collection logistics; establish payment gateways.
  • Streamline disbursement processes through system utilization and bank partnerships.

 

Tax Compliance

  • Lead application for electronic filing and payment systems.
  • Register for computerized accounting systems.
  • Review and ensure timely filing of tax returns (withholding tax, VAT, local business tax, income tax) per Thailand regulations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Thai.
