What we need:
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Facility Engineer is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, planning, and documentation of Data Center (DC) operating procedures and associated mission-critical infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the most efficient and maximum utilization of facilities, equipment, and operational resources to maintain continuous uptime.
Location: Incheon, South Korea
Key responsibilities:
- 24/7 Operational Support & Learning: Support the shift team in ensuring 24/7 uninterrupted operation; proactively learn and apply technical guidance provided by Senior Facility Engineers.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of critical systems (Electrical, Cooling, Fire, BMS) in accordance with manufacturer and corporate standards.
- Maintenance & Construction Support: Assist in supervising operational maintenance and renewal projects; monitor vendor performance on-site to ensure compliance with facility standards.
- Routine System Management: Execute scheduled routine maintenance and provide initial response to emergency services for MEP, security, and fire systems.
- Operational Compliance: Strictly follow and execute established operational documents, including SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), MOP (Method of Procedure), and EOP (Emergency Operating Procedure).
- Shift Response & Efficiency: Support emergency response efforts to maintain 100% availability and assist in monitoring power usage to support PUE optimization goals.
- BMS & Tool Utilization: Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) and automated tools to monitor facility status and identify potential operational inefficiencies.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for building repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring all activities are documented and reported accurately.
- Troubleshooting Support: Assist Senior Engineers in identifying issues and performing root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve technical problems and customer requests.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

- Adaptability: A team player who is willing to be hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think rationally and assist in resolving issues or making technical recommendations.
- Education: Degree or relevant diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection Engineering (Entry-level to 3 years of experience).
- Communication: Basic English communication skills (Speak/Write) preferred.
- Sectors: Experience or interest in telecommunications and digital infrastructure is beneficial.
