What we need:

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Facility Engineer will support the operations & maintenance of the data center mission critical infrastructures, documentation of operational procedures and the efficient utilization of facilities, equipment, and operational resources. The role ensures effective oversight of the uptime of the facilities, lowest possible PUE, all contractor activities and maintains fiscal responsibility of projects and required maintenance practices.

This role will be based in Chonburi, Thailand.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the data center meet or exceed the services (power, temperature, relative humidity) performance & Uptime target.
• Ensure the data center critical systems e.g.  Electrical, Cooling, Fire Protection & Building Management System (BMS) are operating in healthy state and providing the lowest possible PUE.
• Implement the MEP maintenance and monitoring policy & documents / drawings are updated.
• Maintain appropriate vendor relationships to perform the necessary infrastructure repair and maintenance.
• Ensure DC operations are certification compliance for Information Security Management (ISM), Environment, Health & Safety (EHS). 
• Provide support to Sales and deliver good results in customer service & customer satisfaction responses.

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

• More than 3 years of work experience in supporting a 24x7 data centre’s facility management
• Extensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution (e.g. switchgear, transformers, automatic transfer switch, UPS, STS, battery management systems, generators, and PDUs to the branch level), cooling system, fire protection & Building Management system.
• Possess facility management and/or data centre related certifications, such as CDCP, CDCS or equivalent
• Effective communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with both internal and external customers
• Strong project management, trouble-shooting and organizational skills.
• A team player willing to be hands-on in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Well organized & able to think rationally during fault / issue resolution
• Fluency in Thai and English is essential.
