What we need:
This role supports ESG data governance, reporting, and performance tracking across the Asia platform.
Based in Indonesia or India, the ESG Analyst works closely with regional and country teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of sustainability data across multiple markets. The role plays a key part in strengthening annual ESG disclosures, lender and shareholder reporting, and customer sustainability requirements.
As the platform continues to scale, this role supports assurance readiness, greenhouse gas accounting, renewable energy tracking, and continuous improvement of ESG governance frameworks.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG data across construction and operational data center assets in multiple countries.
- Support preparation of the annual ESG Report and other external disclosures, including lender, shareholder, and customer reporting requirements.
- Assist in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting aligned with ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, Scope 2, relevant Scope 3 categories, and broader environmental performance tracking (e.g., renewable energy, electricity, and water).
- Maintain ESG data controls, documentation, and audit trails to support assurance processes and improve governance practices.
- Coordinate with country teams to strengthen data definitions, reporting accuracy, and consistency across markets.
- Develop dashboards and analytical summaries to support management and executive reporting.
- Conduct benchmarking and research on ESG frameworks, ratings methodologies, and emerging regulatory developments.
- Coordinate data collection and documentation for external ESG ratings, benchmarks, and industry assessments (e.g., GRESB, CDP, EcoVadis), including sustainability award submissions where required.
- Support assurance readiness activities, including internal reviews and third-party verification exercises.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance ESG transparency, credibility, and scalability across the platform.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability analytics, environmental data management, or related roles.
- Practical familiarity with GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, and sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD, ISSB, CDP, or similar standards.
- Experience supporting ESG ratings or assessments (e.g., GRESB, CDP, EcoVadis) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills; experience with ESG data tools or dashboards is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline and the ability to manage data controls and audit trails.
- Comfortable working with multi-country teams in a fast-paced, high-growth infrastructure environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
