This role ensures all multi-disciplinary design deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with the client’s global standards and project objectives. The candidate will act as the single point of coordination between internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors, ensuring design integration across architectural, civil, structural, MEP, fire/life safety, IT, and commissioning disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Manage the full design lifecycle in alignment with RIBA Stages 2–6 (Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction, and Handover).
  • Develop and track the Design Deliverable Schedule based on the official deliverables checklist.
  • Coordinate input from all engineering disciplines (Architecture, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Controls, Security, and IT systems).
  • Lead design coordination and review meetings; manage weekly reporting and progress tracking.

2. Design Management

  • Review and approve design submissions against client standards and project requirements.
  • Ensure all key deliverables (Basis of Design, Single Point of Failure Analysis, Life Safety Design Briefs, Design Drawings, Reports, and Schedules) are delivered per RIBA milestones.
  • Validate design compliance with local codes, global data center standards (Uptime, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, TIA 942, etc.), and client technical standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for value engineering, cost optimization, and constructability.
  • Oversee design risk management, including design change control and interface management.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface with external design consultants, cost consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
  • Support the Tender Evaluation process through technical clarifications and design reviews.
  • Work with the construction and commissioning teams to ensure design intent is properly implemented on-site.
  • Collaborate with sustainability and compliance teams to meet ESG, safety, and operational readiness requirements.

4. Quality, Schedule, and Governance
