What we need:

This role is responsible for the hands-on operation and maintenance of critical electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in a 24/7 data center environment. The Facility Technician will monitor and maintain power, cooling, and control systems, carry out preventive maintenance, respond to incidents and alarms, and coordinate with vendors to ensure the facility remains safe, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

This role works in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and will work closely with the Facilities and Data Center Operations teams, vendors, contractors, and other internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and control systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and BMS.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections in accordance with schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and equipment anomalies, performing initial troubleshooting and escalating issues as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during planned and unplanned work, including supervising on-site activities.
• Record shift logs, maintenance activities, and incident reports accurately and on time.
• Follow change management, permit-to-work, and lockout/tagout procedures for all work on critical systems.
• Support shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations and clear communication of system status.
• Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity.
• Perform other facility operations and maintenance-related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration/HVAC, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems; experience in data center, telecom, or other critical environments is preferred.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Physically capable of equipment handling in operational conditions.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with a strong safety mindset and the ability to stay calm and act quickly when handling alarms and incidents.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., K3 Listrik, K3 Umum, or HVAC/refrigeration certification) and familiarity with BMS/SCADA systems are an advantage.
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
