What we need:

Reporting directly to the Director of Facility Operations and under the functional oversight of Director of Commissioning, this role will support the project team during pre-construction and construction to ensure all commissioning and QAQC standards are applied throughout the project phase.

 

This role supports the Commissioning Agents, General Contractor and Equipment Vendors in planning, coordinating, and executing the testing and commissioning of all critical MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and control systems within the project. The Commissioning Engineer is also required to ensure the installation are of high industry standards.

 

This role will also support the Operations and Facility team in customer fit-out works, planned maintenance and equipment replacement works.

 

Working with the Construction Development team from inception, due diligence, and Basis of Design (BOD) creation to successful close-out. The position provides hands-on technical exposure, coordination experience, and learning opportunities across multiple critical systems.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing commissioning plans, test scripts,and schedules.
  • Participate in system inspections and pre-functional checks.
  • Support the setup and execution of functional performance testing.
  • Regular reporting of site progress to the line manager.
  • Ensure all equipment installedduring construction is tested in accordance with the commissioning specifications and meets MEP design specifications
  • Support the commissioning team on-site, ensuringcompliance with safety,quality, and operational standards
  • Interface with construction, engineering, procurement, and client teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction to commissioning and into operations
  • Ensure transparency and communication of project delivery timeliness and that quality meets the Company’s design and commissioning standards
  • Ensures best practices, continuous improvement, maximization of opportunities and risk management processes are put in place to safeguard the commercial interests of the company
  • Provide commissioning schedule oversight during construction phases
  • Manage internal commissioning tracking tools
  • Attend commissioning and project meetings
  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years+ of relevant professional and project delivery experiences in Indonesia
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and control systems
  • Willingness to Travel as Needed
  • Willingness to work on-siteand during system testing periods(including off-hours when required)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, technicalenvironment
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing prioritie
  • Strong MS Excel, Words, Project and PowerPointskills
  • Have problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
