About the role:

Reporting to the Associate Director of FP&A, this role owns Commercial FP&A and Growth Analytics across Asia Pacific — bookings-to-revenue conversion, customer economics, pricing, margin and sales commission governance.

The role provides a trusted view of revenue growth drivers, deal and portfolio profitability, customer contract and rent roll performance, and commercial forecast risk.

It challenges assumptions and supports decisions across Commercial, Sales, Customer Success, Sales Operations and Country Finance, ensuring Finance owns the controls over commercial economics, forecasts, pricing, margin and commissions.

This role will be based in Hong Kong and will support operations across Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities:

1. Bookings-to-Revenue and Commercial Forecasting

  • Own monthly bookings-to-revenue reporting across forecast, commit, funnel, bookings, churn, backlog, BBNB and revenue conversion.
  • Explain revenue growth by volume, rate, mix, timing and foreign exchange; escalate target shortfalls, slipping deals, backlog build-up and pipeline conversion risk.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and consistently defined bookings data with Sales Operations and Country Finance, linking booked-to-bill reporting to revenue recognition and billing readiness.

2. Customer Contracts, Rent Roll and Commission Governance

  • Own monthly customer contract and rent roll reporting across contracted revenue, escalations, renewals, expiries and capacity utilisation.
  • Maintain the rent roll as the single source of truth, reconciled to billing, revenue recognition and Salesforce, and lead the Customer Contract Management project.
  • Build deal and portfolio customer economics, including lifetime value, payback, profitability, customer capex, NRC margin and cost-to-serve.
  • Own commission governance across calculation, accrual, payment support, audit trail and reconciliation to bookings and revenue.

3. Pricing, Margin and Customer Economics

  • Analyse pricing, discounting and margin trends across products, customers and markets, and identify margin improvement opportunities across price, volume, mix, contract terms and cost-to-serve.
  • Benchmark unit economics across deals and customer segments, separating controllable performance from market effects.
  • Lead Monthly Revenue Analysis capacity, budgeting and assumption reviews with Revenue Operations, Product and Sales.

4. Business Partnering, Controls and Ways of Working

  • Set the commercial FP&A calendar, submission standards, data ownership and escalation process.
  • Reconcile bookings, revenue and commission data with Sales Operations, Country Finance and Accounting; provide executive commentary with clear actions and owners.

5. Systems, Automation and Data Quality

  • Automate recurring commercial reporting and Salesforce dashboards using Power BI and AI tools, and set Salesforce data standards with Sales Operations.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or sales finance, covering B-R reporting, backlog / BBNB monitoring, customer economics, pricing, margin analysis and commission governance.
  • Ability to convert complex commercial data into senior management insights, recommendations and accountable follow-ups.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Customer Success, Accounting and Country Finance.
  • Hands-on sales commission calculation, accrual and reconciliation experience.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce bookings, contract bookings, pipeline data and booked-to-bill reporting.
  • Advanced Excel / financial modelling, strong PowerPoint executive reporting and hands-on Power BI dashboard automation.
  • Preferred: data centre, telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, SaaS or subscription-revenue experience.
  • Preferred: OneStream, NetSuite; CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent qualification.
