What we need:
Reporting to the Representative Director of Korea legal entity, and in collaboration with the Digital Edge HQ Technology function, this role will lead the information security program which involves protecting the company’s assets, applications, systems and technology. This role will be based in Korea.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations of IT security ensuring that systems, networks, software and data are protected from potential threats.
- Implement security measures, monitoring vulnerabilities and responding swiftly to any security incidents that may arise.
- Identify potential security risks, evaluate their potential impact, and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate these risks.
- Ensure that the company complies with the necessary requirements of local laws and regulations and regularly audit and assess adherence to these standards.
- Maintain comprehensive plans for disaster recovery and business continuity to ensure that the business can resume regular operations in the event of disruption.
- Documentation management to maintain incident response plans, security protocols
- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization
- Procuring and maintaining licenses related to Information Security

The successful candidate:
- Strong foundation and in-depth knowledge of information security principles, technologies and practices including cyber security systems, encryption methods, network protocols and emerging threats.
- Excellent risk assessment and management skills
- Effective communicator to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders and adept in complex problem-solving
- Certification as an ISMS or ISMS-P auditor Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in telecommunications, information security or IT related disciplines (Master’s Degree in Information Security or Information Technology preferable)
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience as head of information security activities or combined experience in information security and IT with at least 2 years dedicated to information security
