What we need:
Reporting to the Country Health and Safety Lead, Indonesia, the Campus Health & Safety Manager leads Health and Safety across the assigned campus, covering construction, commissioning, internal fit-out works, live operations, and contractor maintenance activities, working in partnership with Construction, Operations, Project Management, contractors, and other functional teams to ensure Digital Edge standards are effectively implemented, risks are actively managed, and regulatory and customer requirements are met or exceeded, while strengthening governance, capability, culture, and accountability across the campus lifecycle.
This role will be based in Cikarang, Indonesia.
Key responsibilities:

Act as the key campus Health and Safety interface for customers and other external stakeholders, ensuring applicable Health and Safety requirements are understood, appropriately addressed, and met or exceeded, while supporting customer engagements, reviews, and assurance activities.

Lead Health and Safety implementation, governance, and performance across the campus, covering construction, commissioning, internal fit-out work, live operations, maintenance activities, and contractor work.

Partner with Construction, Operations, Facilities Management, and Project Management leadership to integrate Health and Safety into work planning, execution, decision-making, and management accountability across the campus.

Coach and build the Health and Safety capability of Operations, Facilities Management, Construction, and other functional teams, providing practical training, field-based coaching, and visible examples of what good looks like to strengthen functional ownership and safe execution.

Implement Digital Edge Health and Safety standards, procedures, programs, and critical controls, ensuring effective application across construction and operational environments.

Lead campus implementation and ongoing conformance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, including management system requirements, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Drive effective management of high-risk activities through appropriate planning, risk assessment, Permit-to-Work, energy isolation, competency, critical controls, simultaneous operations, and management of change.

Provide Health and Safety leadership across construction, commissioning, internal fit-out, and operational interfaces, ensuring risks associated with energization, transition into live environments, and concurrent activities are effectively managed.

Drive contractor and service-provider Health and Safety performance across construction and operational activities, including mobilization, competency, field execution, maintenance works, performance reviews, corrective actions, and escalation where required.

Lead campus Health and Safety incident management and investigations, ensuring appropriate reporting, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and timely communication and implementation of lessons learned.

Lead the implementation of Health and Safety training, competency, communications, and engagement programs across the campus, ensuring employees and contractors understand applicable requirements and critical controls.

Lead campus Health and Safety inspections, audits, assurance activities, performance reviews, and leading indicators, identifying emerging risks and ensuring significant findings and actions are appropriately escalated and closed.

Lead and develop campus Health and Safety personnel and coordinate PMCM and other Health and Safety resources, ensuring effective deployment, clear accountability, and consistent standards of execution.

Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health and safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with recognized professional Health and Safety qualifications or certifications.

8+ years of progressive Health and Safety experience, including significant experience leading Health and Safety across large-scale construction, commissioning, and/or operational environments.

Proven experience in Health and Safety and risk management within large-scale, complex or high-risk environments, including data centers, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industries.

Strong practical understanding of Health and Safety risks across construction and live operational environments, including work at height, lifting operations, electrical works, energy isolation, Permit-to-Work, confined spaces, hot work, and contractor maintenance activities.

Demonstrated experience partnering with Construction, Operations, Facilities Management, and Project Management teams to integrate Health and Safety into work planning and execution and strengthen functional ownership.

Proven ability to coach and build Health and Safety capability across functional teams, including practical training, field-based coaching, and influencing leaders and frontline personnel to improve safe execution.

Strong experience in contractor and service-provider Health and Safety management, including mobilisation, competency, performance monitoring, field assurance, corrective actions, and escalation.

Experience implementing and maintaining Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Strong experience in incident management and investigation, inspections, audits, assurance activities, leading indicators, and corrective and preventive action management.

Proven ability to engage effectively with customers and other external stakeholders, understand their Health and Safety requirements, and support customer reviews and assurance activities.

Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching and developing Health and Safety professionals and coordinating contractors or PMCM Health and Safety resources.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian Health and Safety regulatory requirements, together with knowledge of international Health and Safety standards and good industry practice.

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across frontline teams, contractors, customers, and senior leadership.
