What we need:

 

Reporting to the CEO, India.  The Technical Analyst in the CEO’s Office plays a critical role in

enabling data-driven decision-making by the CEO. The role is responsible for analysing business

data, preparing high-quality executive presentations, and conducting in-depth business studies on

strategic, financial, and operational topics. This individual works closely with the CEO and senior

leadership to translate complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1. Business Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze business performance data across functions (revenue, costs, productivity, operations, customer, etc.)
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to track key business metrics and trends
  • Identify insights, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas to support strategic decision-making
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis based on CEO priorities and emerging business needs

 

  1. Executive Presentations & Communication
  • Prepare high-impact presentations, decks, and briefing materials for the CEO
  • Convert complex data, analyses, and studies into clear, concise, and visually compelling narratives
  • Support preparation for board meetings, leadership reviews, investor interactions, and strategic forums
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and executive-level quality in all deliverables

 

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance, Strategy, Operations, HR, Technology, and Business heads to source data and insights
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to deliver integrated analyses and recommendations
  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO on strategic and business-critical topics

 

  1. Governance, Quality & Confidentiality
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity, version control, and documentation
  • Handle sensitive business information with strict confidentiality
  • Adhere to timelines, accuracy, and executive-level expectations

 

  • Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus
  • 6–10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, consulting, corporate planning, or similar roles
  • Prior experience working with senior leadership / CXO office is highly desirable
  • Exposure to board-level or leadership-level presentations is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent business acumen and structured thinking
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau – preferred)
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • High-quality executive presentations and business studies that influence outcomes
  • Strong credibility as a data-driven thought partner to senior leadership
  • Proactive identification of insights and strategic opportunities
