What we need:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Support, this role will provide satisfactory services to customers and ensure continuous reliable operations of the data center.
What you’ll do:
The Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting and implementing the organization’s compliance framework with a strong focus on ISO standards, government regulatory compliance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The role ensures that policies, processes, and practices align with applicable laws, international standards, and sustainability commitments while promoting a culture of ethical and responsible business conduct.
Core Responsibilities:
ISO Compliance & Management Systems
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 as applicable)
- Maintain documented information, including policies, procedures, manuals, and records
- Coordinate internal and external ISO audits and certification processes
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely closure
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO requirement
Government & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local government regulations, permits, and licensing requirements
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update internal stakeholders accordingly
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation
- Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and inspectors
- Maintain a compliance register of legal and statutory obligations
ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Champion
- Support the development and implementation of ESG strategies and initiatives
- Track ESG metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting
- Assist in sustainability reporting (e.g., annual ESG or sustainability reports)
- Promote environmental and social responsibility programs within the organization
- Coordinate ESG-related training, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement
Compliance Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare reports for management on compliance status, risks, and improvements
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings
Training & Awareness
- Support the development and delivery of compliance, ISO, and ESG training programs
- Promote awareness of policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in compliance, ISO management systems, ESG, or regulatory roles
- Working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and government compliance processes
- Understanding of ESG principles and sustainability frameworks
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ISO audits and certification processes
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, or similar)
- Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance tracking tools
