What we need:

Reporting to the Operations Support Senior Manager, the Assistant Manager, Operations Support is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational support functions at the GAIA Campus. The role ensures operational readiness through effective coordination of operational support services, warehouse and inventory management, physical security and operational governance. The role also supports the implementation and adoption of automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and facility performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support and Service Delivery

  • Coordinate day-to-day operational support activities to ensure operational readiness and reliable service delivery.
  • Support customer fit-out, implementation, service acceptance, and operational handover activities.
  • Coordinate incident response support and ensure operational support requirements are delivered throughout the service lifecycle.

2. Risk, Compliance & Management Systems

  • Support operational governance, risk management, and compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and management systems.
  • Coordinate audits, corrective actions, and the maintenance of operational procedures and documentation.

3. Physical Security

  • Support the management of physical security operations, including security service providers, access control, CCTV systems, visitor management, and security incident reporting.
  • Monitor security performance and support continual improvement initiatives.
  1. Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control for critical spare parts, consumables, tools, and operational assets.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, stock availability, and timely replenishment to support preventive maintenance, incident response, and business continuity.
  1. Vendor & Service Management
  • Monitor the performance of outsourced service providers related to operations support activities.
  • Support contract administration, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  1. Automation Engineering & Operational Improvement
  • Promote user adoption and ensuring automation solutions are effectively utilized to achieve the intended operational objectives and business benefits.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and digitalization.
  1. Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise the Operations Support team and provide coaching and guidance to ensure effective performance.
  • Foster collaboration across departments and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Support employee development and knowledge sharing within the team.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations, facilities management, operations support, or a related critical environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Good understanding of data center operations, inventory management, physical security, risk compliance, and operational support processes.
  • Experience managing vendors and outsourced service providers.
  • Working knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced critical operations environment.
  • Good written and spoken English.
