What we need:

 

Reporting to the Head of Sales Engineering, APAC, this role will be supporting Sales team in selling Digital Edge colocation solutions to Hyperscalers and Strategic accounts. This role will be based in Singapore.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  •       Identifies customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  •         Primary customer technical point of contact for Digital Edge Data Center Services covering colocation space and power.
  •         Analyzes situations and data on problems of moderate scope independently.
  •         Provides full support for customer meetings.
  •         Lead data center tours explaining the facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure capability.
  •         Provides technical solution design expertise on colocation and customer cages to all assigned Sales account executives.
  •         Supports all RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales Representatives
  •         Develops all deliverables for the customer consideration.
  •         Communicates with customers (internal and external) in a professional, friendly, and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.
  •         Provides good technical support in sales presentations and customer meetings.
  •         Able to perform stakeholders’ management (internal and external) well.
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of data center and networks.
  • Possesses industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
  • Assists sales teams in efforts to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (CSM, Ops, etc.) to ensure smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
  • Active participant in cultivating positive culture on the team.
  • Ability to travel within Asia Pacific when required.
  • Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

 

 

The successful candidate:

 

  •         8+ years of experience in a pre-sales or an Engineering role in a Data Center colocation profile
  •         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  •         Demonstrate teamwork, critical thinking, presentation skills.
  •         Strong Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical systems, within data center environments is preferred.
  •         Knowledge in AutoCAD is required.
  •         Knowledge in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint, word) is required.
  •         Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within APAC.
  •         Related Data center industry Certifications are preferred.
  •         Experience in supporting Hyperscalers is preferred.
