What we need:

 

The Account Payable & Reporting is responsible for overseeing the account payable function and supporting the financial closing process. This role will lead the AP and Reporting team to ensure accurate transaction recording, timely vendor payments, proper reconciliations, and smooth month-end/year-end closing activities, including coordination for tax-related matters..

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the full cycle of account payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor reconciliation, and AP aging monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
  • Review payment proposals and supporting documents prior to payment execution.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of AP recording and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain good coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment matters.
  • Lead and coordinate AP and related accounting activities during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
  • Ensure timely preparation of reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules required for closing.
  • Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by the team.
  • Support preparation of financial data and schedules required by the Finance/Accounting Team. 
  • Assist during audit processes by preparing required supporting documents and explanations.
  • Support tax-related processes by ensuring accurate and complete supporting data for VAT/WHT reporting.
  • Coordinate with the tax team regarding invoice completeness, withholding tax documents, and tax reconciliations.
  • Ensure accounting records are aligned with tax reporting requirements.

The successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AP and finance closing functions.
  • Prior experience leading a team is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes and month-end closing activities.
  • Familiar with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT/WHT).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, especially during closing periods.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
