What we need:

 

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is central to driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in Japan. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, expanding sales pipelines, and aligning our cutting-edge data center solutions with the evolving business needs of enterprise clients. You will act as a strategic partner to our customers, ensuring their infrastructure requirements are met with excellence and innovation.

 

This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Sales & Acquisition: Identify and target high-value enterprise clients, delivering customized proposals that solve complex business pain points.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with Sales Engineering to provide tailored IDC and cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Pipeline & Revenue Management: Drive the full sales cycle to exceed revenue targets, maintaining rigorous SFDC hygiene for accurate forecasting.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract and pricing negotiations (SLAs/Pricing Models) to ensure win-win outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in DC and AI infrastructure to maintain a competitive market position.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Global teams to optimize service delivery and portfolios.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all corporate policies (OHS, InfoSec, Environment) and legal regulatory requirements.
  • Actively champion and implement the organizations policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

 

The successful candidate:

 

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience (IDC, Cloud, or IT Infrastructure preferred).
  • CRM Proficiency: Expertise in managing sales activities via Salesforce (SFDC). We are looking for a candidate who has consistently placed SFDC at the center of their daily workflow to track progress, analyze performance, and drive disciplined sales execution.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding quotas. An existing network in enterprise sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Communication: Fluent in Japanese and Advanced Business English for seamless high-level negotiations and global collaboration.
  • Attributes: A self-motivated, result-driven "team player" with a Grit mindset.
